Just wondering if the HDMI board for the Panasonic 7 series has surfaced yet - as I understood it was due about now - anyone seen it? I'm waiting to see if the issues that plague the DVI input board still affect the new HDMI one before I part with my cash.

Were the dealers not hinting it could be into the new year before stocks of the board are available ?

They are still currently saying December. This could of course mean they will be put on the slow boat from China on 31.12.04, but we live in hope!

Excuse my ignorance, but what has been wrong with the DVI card? I ask as I'm planning to get a 7 series.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: The DVI card is designed for PC inputs. For this there are no issues worth discussing as such, but for video it's pants, you can't send it any multiple of 25 frames per second, resulting in the most godawful juddering. Try a seach, there has been much hair tearing, breast beating, and grown men weeping over this. I can't see the big fuss myself, native at 50 or 75 Hz via VGA is pretty sweet as far as I'm concerned, how much better can it get? It's all pretty marginal at that end of the cost spectrum.
