People, got a vga cable running to a tv point is there anyway we can convert the signal from vga to hdmi on both sides so that a laptop can be connected to the cable

As the new T.V doesnt have a VGA port to connect the cable

Thanks

Sure there are VGA to HDMI signal converters but there are other approaches.

If there is WiFi available and TV has a google chromecast receiver plugged into it this software called Airparrot will stream the desktop to the chromecast device, treating it as an extra PC monitor.

Bought a VGA to HDMI adaptor for a few quid from Amazon, works a treat.
