Hi Guys,
I've just refurbished my ground floor and have routed all of my cabling (CAT6 and speaker cable) to a cupboard under the stairs where all of my AV equipment is going to go. There will be an Onkyo TXNR 636 to drive the 5.1 speakers in the living room and perform HDMI switching. There will be 2 TVs downstairs, one in the living room and one in the family area. Each TV has 2 CAT6 cables behind it that are to be used to receive the HDMI signal from the amp via some sort of HDMI over CAT 6 solution. I would also like to put games consoles e.g. my PS4 in the cupboard as well but would like to be able to play them on one of the screens whilst the other screen is using a different source e.g. STB, Blu Ray etc. Anyone have any ideas on how this can be achieved? For clarity only CAT6 have been run back to the cupboard, no HDMI. I'd like the solution to be able to handle 4K 60 if possible. Any thoughts appreciated.
