    Hi,

I'm considering fm changing my denon x2000 for a x2200 or x4200 as am interested in atmos.
I can't seem to find out the following even from reading the manual.

    - Can the multiple hdmi outputs be set so that one outputs 4K at the same time as another outputs 1080p? (I have a 4K tv and I've modded an ambilight to it which only accepts 1080p max, with my current setup I have to not use ambilight when I play 4K content).

    - can I use an old Sony avr as a "stereo amp" (even though it's a full blown Multichannel av unit itself so I can go up to 5.1.4 as I'm concerned 5.1.2 is not really how atmos should be.

    Thanks for your help.
I have researched and read the manual (especially for the hdmi 4K/1080p point) but I can't quite work out if it's possible or not. Store staff say it is, manual suggests it may not be but doesn't clearly say.
