HDMI out to DisplayPort in cable?

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum.

I'm attempting to connect a Sky Q mini box which has HDMI out, to a monitor which has a DisplayPort in. The cable must also carry audio.

There are plenty of DisplayPort -> HDMI, but the only HDMI -> DisplayPort cable I've found is close to £40(!).

Not sure why these are so expensive, but can anyone recommend a more affordable option? The cable must also carry audio (the monitor is connected to a soundbar via 3.5mm).

Noticed your other thread - why not stick a 2x1 HDMI Switch in the system (ensure it is a powered device).

DisplayPort does not always play nice with consumer kit which requires HDCP.

still a lot to pay for a cable’ I guess you’ve never had a look at the cost of setting up and licensing a factory to produce HDMI gear :)
