HDMI losing signal?

Hi, firstly don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.

I have a onkyo tx-sr508 av receiver connected to a Optima gt750 projector. I think I have a 10m hdmi cable from av to projector. I was getting signal drops since I've owned the set-up. I have just inserted a hdmi repeater from av to projector between a 2m cable & the 10m cable to projector. I have a Blu-ray player & firestick connected to the av (had other things connected over the years) but always had dropped signal problems.

Would getting two 5/6m HDMI cables fix/help ?

try with a 2m cable...if issues happens...you should test with a TV...

Not really possible as projector is around 7/8m from av.
