Do HDMI leads come in the box with some HD appliances?

I've ordered a Tosh 32WLT66 and will be pairing it with either a Tosh SD-360E, Sammy HD860 or Sony DVP-NS76H.

Just wondered if I should be ordering a HDMI lead ao I can connect it all up straight away, or whether there might be one in the box.

Most of the AV kit that has HDMI capability usually comes with free HDMI leads but to be sure i would double check with you're supplier as you could get unlucky and not get them included.

OK, but even if they are inclded would I see a big benefit from buying an aftermarket one, even if it was a cheap one such as the 2.4m Linx one from Play for £9.99?

My Samsung 850 came with a free HDMI cable, and it seems OK to me.

My experience is that it is very hit and miss - my Denon DVD and Pioneer Plasma did not come with a lead (so I spent 80 quid on one) but my SKY HD box did come with one (only a very cheap one but it gives same results as the expensive one...but lets not go down that route :D ).

You can see the issue, should the lead come with the screen or the dvd player?...or do you end up with a lead for both ie one too many?

SKY would have to include one as this is installed and they would need to ensure the installation can be completed.
