if an hdmi lead is v1.3 compatible will it also support 1080p
Yes, but you don't need to have a '1.3' lead to support 1080p.
Do not spend a fortune on short HDMI cables, actually don't spend a fortune on long ones either as it isn't necessary.
If you are planning to spend over £20 on an HDMI cable ask for advice on the specific purchase here first.
need a longer lead so i was looking at this one http://www.audiovisualonline.co.uk/...ect-7m-v1.3-latest-specification/display.html
OK, no experience with that particular brand but the price is not excessive and they claim 1.3 and 1080p so if it doesn't work should be easy to deal with them.
There are cheaper places around but not much cheaper and not many of them do white cables if that is important to you.
ordered one so i'll see what its like, needed something abit longer than the qed one i have and one i can leave in the ceiling sholud i decide to move so this fit the bill
