I have my video sources plugged into my TV, so I need a hdmi cable from the TV into my AV pre for audio.

And video from the AV pre to for video (osd setup)

Is it possible to have a single hdmi cable to do this?

If your AVR and TV support ARC or EARC (audio return channel), then yes a single cable will work

Why not route all your sources through the AVR in the first place?

TV and sources are on front wall. Racking with AV pre is on right side wall.

Not enough space for audio gear along TV wall

Some longer HDMI cables maybe?

A single HDMI will work if you have ARC capability as above.

Yes, you need to enable HDMI ARC in the Pre. As long as connected to the HDMI ARC (TV) socket, you should be good to go.

Your AVP has eARC and you TV has eARC so simply connect the devices via the eARC ports.

You do need to ensure your eARC TV supports all audio formats via its HDMI Inputs from connected Source devices.

How long is the HDMI cable run between the TV and the AVP?

Ok when I need to setup the at300 I pread input on LG arc.

And when I use BD player change to BD hdmi input

Audio is passed into at300 no problem. DD DTS and tried master audio ok.

But how do I get osd from at300 whilst playing BD and Kodi?

The sources aren't plugged into the at300

7m from TV to at300. It's LG c9. Think it can Atmos?

AVP OSD - unlikely you can overlay that on top of a source, if I understand your unit it has a pretty rudimentary OSD.

TV - you need to confirm what is passed from Sources connected to the TV HDMI Inputs, which can differ from what it can do with its onboard streaming Apps.

HDMI cable - 7m is beyond the Certifiable length for passive, copper cables, it may work without a hitch or you may need to consider a fibre HDMi cable.
