    Hi,

These may be foolish questions but I best ask before I waste money or make a mistake.

1 - If I enable HDMI on either 3910/868 player I assume this doesn't affect either the digital outputs (toslink, coax, denon link or ilink)? - I know hdmi carries (or can) audio so...

2 - In the case of ilink do the cables usually come with the player or the amp or can you buy them seperately (if so whats the cable description).

3 - I assume a 3910 can connect via ilink to a Pioneer amp without problems?

    Cheers

I've got a 3910, both the Denon link and iLink cables were included. I beleive Gandley is using his 3910 with a Pioneer amp using the firewire connection, there was a thread somewhere.

Can't really comment on the HDMI though as I'm not using it at present. It won't affect Co-ax or optical, but i don't know about the other digital connections. I think I read somewhere about someone not being able to have a 100% digital connection, but that might have been down to their set up.
