    Hello AV peeps! :thumbsup:

    I've been planning a new monitor/freeview system for computer use and freeview. Basically i'm selling of my Acer 22 for either an 16:9 monitor with HDMI+DVI and Audio out. I have Audioengine A2's for speakers which will share both the computer and freeview audio.

    Here is the Idea:

    Computer - > DVI -> Monitor
    Computer Sound Card -> Stereo Input B-> Speakers

    Freeview -> HDMI - > Monitor
    Monitor Audio out -> Stereo to X2 RCA Input A -> Speakers

    I have tested the speakers to see if they'll react badly to 2 inputs by sending my IPOD through the input A while my pc speakers play something through input b, no problem!

    Will this work? Is there still a risk of the Audio going to sleep issue with dell monitors in this setup? I'm sure the freeview can be interchanged for a PS3 or XBOX 360 in the future?
