I'm used to working in coax and Cat6, and am used to using a jackfield to make it possible to patch around failed equipment, using U-links for the default signal path.

I'm not building a system where most of the signals are DVI-D, so I want to build a patch panel with pairs of DVI or HDMI connectors with a short cable between them (0.1m). I can find panels with 16 pairs of F-F connectors, but I can't find any 0.1m DVI or HDMI cables.

Anyone here aware of a supplier or a company that can custom make them?

The attenuation will be to great on 0.1m HDMI cables.

Also you shouldnt live patch HDMI, everything should be powered down before removing any cable.

Maybe if you can expand on the scenario we could offer further advice, maybe using HDMI to Cat5 for instance
