Does anyone have a list of current TV's that have these connections? and are therefore 'future proof' as people like to call it

The presence of HDMI or DVI connections doens't make them future proof I am afraid...it's just a connection method. It's waht goes down the connection adn how it's encrypted that is important....

See my website in teh articles section there is a bit about DVI/HDMI

It seems also that a crystal ball could be useful, the future formats of Blu-ray and HD-DVD in europe are not set in stone, besides the skyHD issue. They should give one away with every plasma screen.
