So I've just bought a new 4k TV and I'm trying to connect my PC. I can get 1920x1080 out of the HDMI, but if I want anything higher then I have to use the DVI-D Dual Link output. (Unfortunately my raggedy old card doesn't support 4k, so I have to settle for 2560x1600 which is still better than 1920x1080!)
This is the card I've got: ASUS Global
So it has a Dual Link output, but obviously I don't have a DVI input on the TV so I'm having to go to HDMI. Does a cable exist that does DVI-D>HDMI that supports 2560x1600 and audio? All the DVI>HDMI cables on Amazon seem to stop at 1920x1080.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
