ive got my ps3 set to hdmi to use on my plasma, i want to take it upstairs so i can plug it temporarily into my computer monitor and then get it online and grab demos etc.

prob is i cant set it to composite as when i try on my plasma it basically says its not composite and refreshes back to hdmi.

when i plug it into my monitor its not set to composite and i get a black screen.

    AAARGH.

anyone offer any advice please haha!

    thanks in advance,
    Ash

Connect the PS3 to your monitor and then turn it on. When turning it on keep pressing the on button until you hear two beeps. This should reset the console to the default video output which should be the composite input. Ofcourse you will probably need to do the same thing when connecting it back to your plasma.
