Can anybody recommend 'sensible' HDMI cables to use with an incoming X7200WA?

By sensible I mean not £100 per metre when a £5-10 version will suffice.

I'm upgrading from a 15yr old Denon AVC-A1SE so using optical/Analogue audio & Component video type connections.

Clearly, if buying an HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant Amp, makes sense to buy suitable HDMI leads now for when I have UHD sources/displays in the future.

I realise the cables have no 'compliance' per say and its more about their data throughout rating. I might have 1 or 2 HDMI leads lying around but likely old so makes sense to get some suitable ones now when I have to connect everything up, so long as they don't cost a fortune.

    Appreciate anyone's thoughts or experience.

    Steve.

Amazon Basics are just as good as any cable costing ten times as much.

    AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable 2 m: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

There's no advantage to spending more money on a digital cable and as long as the cable works and is able to convey a signal then the picture and audio quality will be exactly the same.

The cables are not categorised by the HDMI version and UHD will not require you to buy new cables. Existing cables rated High Speed are all that you need.
