    Hi Guys,

Finally upgraded my tired old Sony Home Cinema system for the new Sony DAVIS10 (The one with the tiny speaker).

I need to get a 15metre HDMI to HDMI cable, my projector is over the otherside of the room from where the System will be.

Quick question though, I would assume HDMI cables would all pretty much do the same thing but I have been told that quality is a must when buying a cable and I should be looking to spend about £200. although I see them on EBAY for a tenner.

Seriously is there much difference in what cable I buy?? Any help greatly appreeciated and directions to any relaible sites also a brucie

    Thanks

    Hi Scallywag

I would go with the cheaper option -
if it works then you have saved £190 - if not then you could resell on ebay.

Sorry I cant be much help in telling you which cable to buy.

    will

For HDMI up to 3 or 4 metres, you could just spend a tenner and have no problems. For the sort of length you are running, using cheap cables could give you no end of problems. One of these is probably about the best you are going to get at half the £200 you have quoted. However, you could possibly still go cheaper than that. Depends on what you are willing to spend.

I have to admit, I know little about cables, but bluejeans are regularly mentioned :)
