Just a quick one. Will I see much difference over a £1 poundland cable then some £15 cable from argos? The tv is 37" btw. :)

None, absolutely none at all.

It's a complete myth, that more expensive cables will give any better performance than as you plan, a £1 cable.

When the cable work's, it work's just the same as any other.

The Poundland cables are perfectly fine.

I'll just add the only potential difference is build quality. But as Rottenfox says the signal being transmitted is digital and unlike analogue it doesn't suffer varied usable quality. It is simply working or not.
