hdmi audio - oppo 971

Can someone please tell me how to set the oppo to output audio through the hdmi lead?

I have gone to audio settings menu, set SPDIF output to RAW.

What am I missing?

The 971 doesn't have an HDMI connection, it only has DVI which doesn't support Audio just video only, so you'll need to use the seperate Digital Audio output for audio
