I have recently bought a Samsung HD-950 dvd player to go along with my 32" R7. However, I get the message "HDMI Audio Not Supported". Is this normal, or is there anything I can do to change this?

This happens when you set the digital out to bitstream. Your TV as it is stereo only is saying "I can't cope with this".

Have a look at this thread

I used this to get rid of the error on my 850 (also upgraded it to a 950 which is nice). I seem to remember there is a version there for the 950 as well.

    regards

    Hi

Try changeing the bitsream and MPEG audio setting in the HD950 audio menu to PCM this should get rid of then message.

Thanks guys, switching to PCM seems to have sorted it. I will look through the thread later though as I'm on my lunch-break!!!
