HDMI Audio Device / Plex / Win7

Hi,

I leave Plex on pretty much all the time and when I turn my TV on in the mornings Plex 'failed to initialize hdmi audio device' - I have to quite out of plex and load back in after a few seconds.

Is there a fix for this?

Do you have a receiver/amp between the PC and the TV?

No - I know I've had an issue with an AV Receiver in another room and used the resolution of 'faking' the control messsage.

In this room there is no AV Receiver - it's PC straight to TV
