On my 32WD756 I am unable get audio to a Sony wireless speaker (via HDMI ARC). I can't tell if there is an issue with the TV or speaker. SongPal app is rubbish. Any helpful suggestions?

Its a long shot but are you using the latest firmware? Firmware update to v8.211 | Sony UK

Also, have you tried a factor reset just to be sure?

Finally, some cables can give mixed results, its probably worth trying another just in case.

Its a question of process of elimination when it comes to problems like this but HDMI CEC is renowned for being flaky, sometimes things just don't work, you should definitely get in touch with Sony.

Thanks for the tips. Yes, I have the latest firmware for both units. I've also done a factory reset for the TV but not the speaker so I shall try and do that when I have a chance. I will try a different cable too. Thanks again.

I have tried all possibilities and have verified that the speaker was faulty. The HDMI indicator lights up on the speaker (SRS-ZR5) as it should but there is no audio. Back to using my trusty SRS-X5 (via analogue 3.5mm connection). :(
