Hi, I've seen the HDMI i/p on the back of the newest Pioneer media box. Also http://www.hdmi.org/. I'm assuming the media box processes this i/p digitally, and basically just forwards the bits on to the screen. Given an HTPC/HCPC installation, and a desire for the best possible PQ, it would seem a good idea to build a graphics card with a HDMI o/p. While we're at it - why not drop in a digital audio o/p as well, and make best use of the connection. I'd like to avoid the on-board sound from my MB, but having a Shuttle I've only got 2 PCI slots. (One for TV capture, and one for video o/p.) So - is anyone making a video/audio HDMI output card yet? In the interim... can I use a DVI o/p? Cheers, Andy.
