Hi guys, ive just got a PS3 and only 2 HDMI inputs on my Panny 42" and they are already both in use. Firstly ive been told that a PS3 component lead (which would solve my problem as i have a component input) is not as good as an actual HDMI connection even though all the resolutions are supported ? Is this true , would i notice any difference ? Secondly if HDMI is the way to go could anyone recommend a decent switcher . Ive seen on these forums that people recommend a powered remote controlled type over an auto or manual push unit. Thanks guys

Looks like you've already found an almost identical thread so let's keep the related questions over there rather than repeat them all again in here :)

Short answer to your other question is yes, HDMI will be better than component.
