HDD & Freeview

Hi, im looking for a dvd recorder that has HDD and freeview for under 200 pounds. Any suggestions?

Your price limit is too low. Purchase any with an 80GB HDD and connect a separate freeview STB to give you the digital channels. This is your best option.

What are my best options here? How much of a difference is there between having the freeview separate. Why is it cheaper?

1. The panasonic does not have divx (unless you live out of the uk).

few more points....

1. not everyone wants or understands Divx.

2. most people just want to 'record from the telly'.

3. most of the above do not understand or want a PC.... (and my dear mum is one of these!! :) )

no, its not a bad thing to know about pc's or tech, just remember that you are only 10% or less of the population...... so be happy about it!! :thumbsup:
