    Hi,

After buying a Toshiba 30wl46 last year thinking it was a pretty good buy for the price, I have since learned a lot more about AV technology. To my dismay I have found that due to this set not having a HDCP compliant DVI port, if I want to use this port the source must not produce a HDCP signal. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I had my eye on a Denon DVD1910 to replace my old and faithful (but to my ears noisy) Denon DVD-1000. I have read this player's DVI output is HDCP enabled. However, I recently came across this product during my webbernet trawl to determine compatibility of my display with DVI DVD players:

Does anyone have any experience with this type of device? My concerns are would something like this have a negative effect on picture quality thus negating the use of the DVI port.

    Thanks

    Con
