HDCP high def

    With the advent of the new SKy Hi def in 2006.Will the Sim projectors be able to code the HDCP content. Also with the new Realta chip in the Denon DVD player which will improve the image from a standard DVD, can we assume that Sim will be kicking sonys butt with 1080 very soon.
    I have seen the Sony on a trip to USA and it looks awesome. But Sim is where the heart is.

    Hi Mike,

    SIM2 projectors will be able to accept any 1080i, 720p & 1080p at 60hz and at 50hz via the HDMI input which is HDCP compliant.

    Concerning future SIM2 products I'm afraid I am unble to make any comment at present.

    I meant 1920 x 1080P, TI say its down to the manufactures not having a product yet. Lets hope its a Sim
