    Hi All,

I am looking in to the posibility of get the mHub 4K. I currently have 4 HDMI sources, which could increase in the near future. What would my options then be? Would it be a case of having two mHubs with a network switch?

Or would I be looking at a different product?

    Thank you,
    Kam.

    Hi Kam

A couple of options as 2 x mHubs wouldn't work well

Do you think you might also increase your outputs too?
If so you'd be better going for a 6x6 HD Matrix. Although HDanywhere don't make them other manufacturers do

Or you could buy the modular chassis version and then just populate exactly what inputs/outputs you want giving you up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs should you need them in the future it gives your lots of expandability

Let me know if you want any more help
    Cheers

HDMi Over Cat5/6 Matrixes dont work with network switches or over a IP network, they use dedicated Cat5/6 cable runs from the matrix (hub) to thereceivers.

If you had more than 4 sources then you would need a matrix with enough inputs for the sources you need, you also need to consider how many TVs you want to connect to.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the replies.

So currently I have 4 sources and 3 TVs.

Within the next year that will increase to 6 sources and 4 TVs.

Further in the future I will be adding more TVs.

The HDAnywhere 8x8 modular matrix looks rather appealing.

    Hey Kam,

I think that you follow us on twitter and facebook- cheers for your support. We will be releasing an mHub 4K 8x8 model over the coming months. I guess the main question is what source devices are you using and what resolution of TVs are your planning on having? There's an mHub 2K 8x8 that supports Full HD 1080p from eight HDMI sources to a maximum of eight displays over Cat 5 / Cat 6 cable runs up to 50m.

    let me know,

    Dee
