HDAnywhere 4x4 or 1x4 with switcher?

Hi all. Hopefully a quick one for someone to answer.

I have just got a new house which we are renovating. I've been researching TV distribution options for a LONG time now and have decided that HDAnywhere (http://www.hdanywhere.co.uk) is the way forward for us.

The question I have is around the switching of sources. Are there any owners out there who know about remote switching?

If we go for the c.£1500 4x4 Single Wire (http://www.hdanywhere.co.uk/multiroom-hd-hdbaset-matrix-singlewire.html) we can have 4 HDMI sources. How do you switch between the sources from a remote location? Is there a separate remote? I notice there's an RS232 port - is that something for switching?

Thanks for any info!

I can help you with that.

You can switch between the sources via:
a) the included master remote
b) additional master remotes (purchased separately)
c) any programmable universal remote such as one4all or logitech harmony

You can use them at any Receiver locations.

The RS232 port is for integration with higher level home automation systems, such as Control4, Crestron, AMX etc

Fantastic!! Thank you very much. Hoping to pre-order one of the 4x4 single cable options soon. This has made my mind up... just the wife to convince now! ;-)
