Hi All,
I have an annoying intermittent fault on my Optoma Themescene HD82 that I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on.
Intermittently (say 1 in 5) when I switch on the projector using the remote control. (The real one, or my Pronto type remote) the projector fails to startup and immediately goes into a "fault".
The screen drops but the lamp does not light and the only way to recover it is to pull the power and reconnect.
I have been trying to narrow down the fault before returning the projector to Optoma as I know intermittent faults are difficult to find.
For a couple of weeks, I have only switched it on using the button on the side. It has started up every time using the button.
I then used the remote once and it failed.
I am terrified that I will send it back to Optoma, they will fail to reproduce the fault and send it back to me as no fault found.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the reason for this strange intermittent fault?
Thanks,
Bruce.
