HD65 Reducing screen size

Hi!

I've recently moved in to a new apartment and the room that I want to set up my projector is giving me some problems.

The first challenge or 'feature' is that the ceiling is 4 metres high, so I can't have the projector ceiling mounted since it would ruin the look of the room. The second problem is that the room is quite large (5m x 5.5m), so I've tried having the project mounted on a shelf opposite my screen, but when I do this then the picture is too large for the screen (1.3m x 2.3m).

The HD65 does not allow me to reduce the size of the picture sufficiently, so basically films are un-watchable. Do I have any other options? The projector is about three years old and I'm happy with it and I've got the green light from my wife to change the projector to one where I can adjust the size to fit the screen but is this the only sensible option?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Martin
