Hey everyone,

its been a while since I have needed to look into projectors, but my much loved Optoma HD65 (about 14 years old I reckon) has bit the dust and isn't powering up again, I suspect its the lamp unit, but its so old I think its time for a replacement rather than throwing parts at it.

However, Im on a very tight budget ATM due to current circumstance, so a spangly, all singing and dancing replacement is likely out of reach. The cinema room is much loved by the family and one of our few "luxuries" we allow ourselves.

currently in a 12ft-10ft room with 84 inch pull down screen from the original build. Id just like to replace the projector, but may also buy a budget 92 fixed screen from Amazon or the like too.

not sure what I should be looking at really, have been very tempted by a few 75 inch tv that I have seen for sub £800 as would likely be more versatile. Dont know what to do, whats everyones thoughts?

Optoma has served me well, are they still decent?
