hd3 dead?

    :( well just went to listen to my hd3 and it wont start up just getting to the walkman screen and sticking only had it about 6 months so will take it back to the shop unfortunatly appear to have mislaid the recipt any ideas anyone is this gonna create a big prob or are there other ways of showing this im pretty sure i paid for it by debit card will bank records be enough? :(

    Depends where you bought it from I guess.

    Some retailers like Currys and Dixons have the capability to track transactions on thier systems providing you paid by debit/credit card

    i bought it from curries fingers crossed then gonna try today going away for the weekend so the hopefully sort it out quickly.

    tried switching built in batt switch off then on? worked for me

    yeah tried all the usual stuff but got a great result at the shop they had a record of it and told me to pick anything for the value so i got a black hd5 quite pleased :D

    There must be an issue with the HDD. Too many of these are having this issue. I hope we don't have another N1 type product that they ALL eventually die off far sooner than expected.
