hd3 and hd1 usb connections

    Just a quickie , do the usb connections differ for the hd1 and the hd3 ? If so is it easy (and cheaply) enough to pick one up for the hd3 ?

    I can get hold of a hd3 cheaply without any cables or software(which i dont need as I already have a hd1 and the 40 gigger) and just want to know what extra i would need to buy for the hd3
