Hi does anyone know what min and max distances to get 110inch on hd25 ?
And how it fairs with hd33 as only found one comparison that says its not as good as hd33 because of smoothness.
Apparently it upscales DVD but I only use blu ray and it doesn't have puremotion 4.
But the contrast 20k compared to 10k .
    Also longer bulb life.
    Any info or views?
    Thanks

The throw ratio for HD25 is 1.5-1.8:1 so for 106" screen the distance between 3.5-4.2m, if I'm wrong somebody will correct me :)

Did myself when trying to find out what screen size for my room and when I looked at back on the manual it says roughly the same.

How I did it with mine, the throw ratio for the projector I'm getting is 1.15-1.5 and my distance viewing to the screen is about 3.5m so what I did, distance/ratio. In my case 3.5/1.5 and I got 2.33 and for that, the screen width I need is 233cm which is 106".

To get the distance I did the other way round.

So far when I checked with a view projectors, it says on manual roughly or just about right.

Correct me if I'm wrong as that's oy my formula lol.

    Search for Optoma Distance Calculator
(Unfortunately the forum software does not allow me, to post the direct link!)

PJLover: You know my thoughts from the other thread. You need the throw like I did.. go for it.

I might put the Optoma back up this weekend just to make sure that i am not talking myself into the fact that it was a good purchase!

It hurts because hd33 is suppose to be a step up because of the pure motion 4.
Which induces lag so no good for gaming.
And to be honest I'm not exactly sure how good it is. Pure detail can't tell any difference , pure motion either only use pure color as that's the only one I see any significant difference. Saying that I put pure m and pure detail on just to get my money's worth. However I do only view hd material. Does it even upscale???
I'm bit disappointed hd25 is same throw.
Been playing black ops 2 today( I know been out a while but gf is on holiday ) it is stunning it's just now I'm starting to see the crosstalk when not perfectly dead on. Probably glasses but wonder if the 144hz will help this? Or is it Xbox is 720p 60hz 3d
Watched Madagascar 3 and wrath of the titans in the last couple of days and the hd33 was very good.
