The Quadscan only outputs RGBHV not YPrPb. Pretty sure about that. If so you can't do what you want.

Any standard HD15 to 5bnc/phono would do the job. You'd just use the G for Y, R for Pr and B for Pb. As I say though I;m sure teh Quad only outputs RGB. Iscan will output YPrPb or RGB.

    doh..:(
I sort of made one up and with just one phono plugged in the picture was amazing but black n white and the projector showed 625p from Sky digital..
When I put the other phono's in the picture colours were totally wrong colour but perfectly stable..
I really want one of these products but being able to get the Quadscan at $500 is a big bonus.. A friend got one delivered for a total of £420..

You could always add on another $200 and get a Key Digital RGB to YPrPb transcoder....

why dont you just buy a vga 2 vga cable ???

most ppl seem to think the rgb outperforms the component on this particular projector anyway.

just a thought and you can get a decent vga cable for far less than a decent component cable.

    Steve,

As far as I can remember no.....best solution is to buy an RGB to component transcoder from key digital. Next best...and more affordable in UK would be an RGBTO SVIDEO convertor.

the proV in the LCD projectors forum here sounds promising.

You get composite and S-video inputs for Sky, which get upconverted to VGA for your panny (good quality too by the sounds of it). You also get VGA passthrough. So you connect your current VGA input to the ProV, plus all your analog stuff, then connect one VGA output to the panny.

Still waiting for Shockabuku to do some more impressions tomorrow on DVD playback.
