HD video convertor any good?

Hi I have recently purchased new TV no scart lead for the pvr recorder so purchased an HD video convertor followed instructions but nothing working, I've noticed the power button remains red and wondered if anyone has one of these boxes, should it be green light? Very frustrating as I k ow everything us where it should be!

That's a HDMI to Scart Convertor so using a new box on an old TV. Looks like you bought the wrong one.

It won't work regardless This one should though possibly.

As ChuckMountain indicates your box is HDMI > SCART and you require a SCART > HDMI box.

Ideally you want a box which supports RGB SCART rather than just Composite video from the Source device and keep in mind the image is always going to look soft vs. your HDMI equipped Source devices.

What brand/model no of TV are you connecting to?

It's a toshiba 43uk3163db 4k uhd hdr led to be precise!

What PVR are you using, with a 4k TV you should probably be updating the PVR
