Hi guys

Heard this rumour twice now that Sky will be dropping the HD subscription fee sometime this year, can anybody confirm if true or not ?

Do you really think anyone privy to such highly sensitive commercial decision would actually post a reply on forums such as these?

To be honest it is highly unlikely as Sky are in the process of introducing a Lite version of the HD pack (without Movies or Sport) for roughly half price of the full pack.

We have just received an offer for the HD pack for £2.50/m for a year. Hardly worth the administration at that price.

The only change AFAIK is that customers taking the new Entertainment+ package will get the HD pack for £5.25 to take into account the reduced number of HD channels they will receive compared to those on Sky World.

For a rumour, that's being very specific.
