    Hi all,
Hope this isn't a too rudimentary question:
I have a Thomson 32WB843, which is a 32" widescreen with 100Hz or Progressive scan option; and Thomsons "Hi-Pix" processing which "quadrupels" the dots per line, which Thomson claim produces "near HD"
Question is: will buying High Definition STB be worthwhile? Can this CRT support the output from an HD box? or will a get as good results from a SD STB?

The CRT will only be able to show the SD channels or downconverted HD from the SKY+ HD, yes there may be benefits using the new platform but it's a lot of money to pay for what will only be a small improvment if you do not have a genuine HD display.
