    Right,

I've just trawled through about 10 pages of posts and can't find a definitive answer / complete advice on what monitor/tv I could get for circa £300 prefferably sub £300 tbh!

Basically, there's a plethora of stuff out there, you can of course use a monitor for HD gaming with a VGA adaptor, but then theres resolution issues on some.

And with a monitor of course, its unlikely to have multiple inputs, not the end of the world but a feature I wouldnt mind.

The dell 2005FPW seems nice and is currently on offer, but the 16ms response seems a little high compared to other 8/4ms monitors on offer.

Basically, I need some help here :)

Cheers, that does seem to come up a lot on this forum, and given the price and the fact im too tight to spend loads on a proper telly it seems the only real sensible option:)

Any other input appreciated though of course :)

Ive seen it on other forums aswel with people specifically mentioning this to be one of the best monitors for the Xbox 360.

Other than that, save money and get a 32" Samsung.

    Ok, get the Acer then.

Seems to be a right mixed bag with regards to the acer though, some say its great, some say otherwise, surely there must be a sweet spot between this monitor, and a nice LCD tv thats not overly huge?

    Never simple is it :D

I've just bought the Acer as my 'old' BenQ monitor died.

TBH, for the price you cannot get a better TFT.

I've also got the Acer 19" widescreen monitor and an official VGA cable with the 1360-ish x 768 resolution (can't remember exact width!) selected - very pleased with it!
