HD-DVD through Samsung TV

Hi guys and gals,

can someone more knowledgable than me please answer my two questions to help me decide which HD-DVD player to buy;

1. can i play .MTS files from a USB memory stick through an HD-DVD player (and if so which ones)?

2. can an HD-DVD player e.g. EP30 do forced 24fps 1080i / 720p through samsung TVs (LE32...BDX) ?

No HD dvd player can do (at the moment) FORCED 1080p/24,i'm afraid.
