Hi, does anyone know if hd dvd recorders are soon to be on the horizon?

There is only the Toshiba RD-A1 available in Japan, but I wouldn't expect to see it in Europe any time soon. What were you hoping to record?

Not as yet

They will probably appear as internal PC drives first, as have the Blu-Ray versions.
