phantom of the opera is the third one and get this....£17.99 each...which i have to admit is a slight cause for concern cos i expected the cost of the films to be higher...which either means movietyme have got it wrong or we are all in for a happy..happy ...summer

Phantom of the opera, Million dollar baby and The last samurai are the only ones available I think. It says street date is April 18th but if we order now, will it be shipped now?

edit: sorry, just read that's when they will be released.

I would hold off just a little....

Nothing wrong with MovieTyme as a supplier, but I would be surprised if they are actually going to be able to source these titles in the immediate future.

WBHV seem to have limited the initial software allocation to Toshiba Dealers in the USA, so a Canada based entertainment website is hardly going to be top of the list.

If the software was ready for dispatch today, it would be available for the launch on the 28th March, it isn't so I think its safe to assume that HD-DVD software [with the possible exception of Chronos] wont be shipping for a few weeks yet....

Why hold off ? The alternative is Amazon.com and they will charge a fortune on UK delivery for anything but their upto 36 days service. You can cancel your order if it hasn't shipped and I found Movityme to be pretty good on delivery.:smashin:

I don't disagree with your comments in regards to Amazon and MovieTyme, I'm just not sure they will ever get the stock.....

If you have one of the Toshiba HD-DVD players on order and you want something to show the thing off, a long wait for the films to arrive is not what is called for....
