HD Channels - Sound Volume?

Shady Deal

Hi,

After doing a search it seems a common problem that sound on HD channels is of a lower volume than SD channels?

If I switch over to my amp via HD box optical out the sound is still a lot lower.

Is it a case of living with it?

Thanks

Yep, that's just the way it is.

I've found that typically DD broadcasts are a darn sight louder than those in Stereo... assume this is some effect of running all my Stereo broadcasts through Prologic2 on my processor.

So in general I find that my HD channels are louder (particularly BBC-HD but then I love that being good and loud :) )
