Hi all, Apologies in advance if this is a bit of a newby question!
I currently have Sky+ with all packs other than Sports & Movies, I am looking at upgrading to HD but to offset the cost of the £9.95 HD mix I am probably going to drop to just the Variety pack.

Will I still get all the HD channels other than Sports & Movies or do I need to have the full Entertainment pack to recieve all the HD channels? I just spoke to someone at Sky and she was saying something about getting a different HD channel every month (I don't think she knew what she was on about)

    Thanks in advance.

    - Sammy

She didn't know what she was on about.

Yes you will get all the HD channels other than sports & movies - as long as you have at least one mix. This includes Eurosport. I'm not sure whether the Disney HD Channel is part of the Movies list though.

Excellent, Thanks for that GasDad. Seems like HD with the Variety pack is the way to go then, Costing me about an extra £5 pm. Roll on F1, MotoGP & Lost in HD!

Only Lost in HD. But you will get Eurosport HD in your HD Pack. Le Tour was excellent in HD last year.

Hmmm... Hopefully the BBC will sort out the F1 HD.

I would of though EurosportHD should have the MotoGP coverage in HD though?

Eurosport don't have the motoGP this year, it's exclusively on the BBC for the next 3 years. Thank Dorna for that one.

Not until next year at least. Dorna don't 'do' it in HD at present.

Eurosport have lost the rights to MOTO GP which is a tragedy,I am gutted this is not new news so I cannot see it changing.
Its only on the BBC,GOD knows if we will still even see 125 and 250s
