hd cat5 or hdmi

    i want to my hdtv about 5 or 6 meters away from my sky hd box is it posible to use cat5 or another cable or must i install an extra lond hdmi lead . whats the cheapest?

    Hello BIGbungle

    There should be no problem getting HDMI over 5m and it makes no financial sense to go down the HDMI over CAT5 route at that length - the required converters are very expensive.

    Molex provide well made 5m HDMI cables that will cost you approx 30.00 GBP (inc UK delivery).
