HD cable for wii any need?

Distinguished Member
I see on ebay you can buy a HD comp cable are these any better?

What do you mean by HD ? The Wii doesn't support HD. The best it supports is ED or enhanced definition ( 480p ). Having said that I would recommend getting the component cable ( preferably the official one as the third party ones aren't that great ) as it's better then composite and generally better then RGB scart.

If you are going through an amp it is better to use the 480p setting with the component cable, the amp will do a better job of upscaling.
