Hi all, hope this is the right spot to post, been seeing the sky hd advert now a couple of times and was wondering why I am watching on sky+,with a hd ready samsung, but It seems to be in HD ,ie, it seems as though I am watching a sky hd broadcast? the quality is a lot better than standard sky+ broadcast(football in particular). Thoughts/answers please:)

That Cornish home brewed ale will do that to you........

I agree, it does look good in SD especially the CGI, however seeing it on actual HD, you do realise it is another level.

... the quality is a lot better than standard sky+ broadcast...

I presume that you have just bought/installed a new TV, or has something changed since you started watching the HD adverts?

No, sky+ over a year, new tv last christmas, its only that advert that the picture quality is a lot better ?

As ijd says it is the CGI , giving that 3D effect, that makes it look so good.
