HD-a1 on a Panny PWD8

    Just out of interest has anyone seen or tried the HD-1a with a panasonic PWD8? just curious iwhat the image quality is like

    tried a dvhs player with a PWD8... image is very nice indeed :)

    its just i am thinking of getting the HD-A1 but i have a panny pwd8 and the PV500 37" so i can use for either plasma, but would prefer to use the pwd8 untill i replace it in a years time

    Yep in fact I play loadsa HD through the panel.. just not jumped to HD-DVD or BR.. looks stunning anyhow regardless of the lack of pixels :)

    i've seen HD material on a PWD8 and it was seriously impressive :thumbsup:

    I have a PWD7 and HD is stunning on it regardless of the screens native res.:thumbsup:

    If you compare SD-DVD to HD-DVD you will see an obvious diffrence,colors are crisp and the images are sharper as they would be with the extra res.I have a PV500 and although i'm far from happy with this TV, you can see an obvious improvment.The PWD8 has far more user options than the PV500 i think? which should further benefit your enjoyment:D
    You will probably find a few people with this screen in the HD/BR area.
