    Hi all,

currently got my HCPC via VGA to my projector and am now thinking of getting a monitor to watch when I cant be arsed with swithing the PJ on. I'm running 1280x720 on the PJ and want the monitor to display the same thing (clone mode) but getting a monitor to display 1280x720 might be a problem esecially when it is quit likely to be a 17" 4:3 monitor. What are you guys using? has anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks d00ds

Why not use hotkeys to switch displays & resolutions between PJ & monitor?

    That's what I do ;)

Yeah I might have to do that but I would really like everything displaying the same stuff at the same time

Easy, just send 1280x720 to both outputs, and clone, and just use the picture controls on the monitor to get a 16:9 aspect on your 4:3 monitor! I'm pretty sure most half decent 17" CRT will be able to do that, unless you're using a TFT panel?

Just out of interest, if you use a radeon have you considered using theatre mode?
